The staff is compassionate and dedicated, ensuring that every child who walks through the doors feels safe and valued. Our Team

Our team is a team of women of color and women who have survived abuse and addiction. We have been through similar situations as the children we hope to help and will be able to relate to the needs of the children on a personal level. Between the members, there are over 35 years of successful business ownership and management in the financial sector and personal services areas which we plan to apply to the success of Lyv's Place.

Who we Work with

At Lyv’s Place, we believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting change for children in need. We work closely with key organizations to provide safety, stability, and essential resources to vulnerable youth in Huntington, WV.

Huntington Police Department & Child Protective Services (CPS): Ensuring the safety and well-being of children through protective measures and crisis intervention.
Clothing Closet & Food Bank: Providing clothing, meals, and supplies to children experiencing hardship, helping to meet their basic needs with dignity.
Homeless Shelters: Partnering with local shelters to ensure every child has access to safe housing and the support they need to transition into stability.
Mental Health Services: Connecting children with professional mental health support to help them navigate trauma, stress, and emotional challenges.

Through these vital partnerships, Lyv’s Place stands as a beacon of hope, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.
